June Meeting Update
It’s been a busy summer. I FINALLY just got back from my Hawaii vacation and getting around to posting the files from the last meeting.
Henry Minden from GoEngineer spent some time explaining the basics of surfacing and continuity. Lots of great questions came out. Looks like we’ll behaving a few more sessions on this topic in the future…
The benefits of PLM
Mike Leone from Keytech gave us a presentation about the benefits of PLM. Most designers and engineers don’t know what PLM is or think they don’t need it. Even though we didn’t get a product demonstration, there was some good information and why you should consider using a PLM system like Keytech.
The guys from Dimension came in and showed us many of the benefits of making rapid prototypes.
While designed to be only a few minutes long, this presentation ended eating up about 45 minutes! There were LOTS of good participation from the group. Lots of interest.
Drawing Notes Tips
Matt Lorono came and showed up some really good tips for creating superscripted and subscripted notes using the new Dimension Palette in SolidWorks.
Time ran short so we’ll definitely have Matt back for a full Tips & Tricks Session.
Look for an announcement about our next meeting… soon!
