Ed Gilbert did a fantastic presentation about SolidWorks Inspection.  Whether you want to work directly with SolidWorks drawings or doing OCR on your existing PDF’s. It’s possible to create inspection reports very quickly.  Ed followed up with a genuine use case showing how a CMM machine or a digital height gauge can punch values directly into the worksheet.

SolidWorks Visualize versus PhotoView 360

Brian Titus did a presentation outlining the key differences between SolidWorks Visualize and PhotoView 360.  A detailed rendering comparison between the two products clearly showed that each product has it’s own specific use case.
